Everett Pitcher Lecture Series Prior to 2016-17 Academic Year

July 22, 2013 - 12:00pm

The Pitcher lectures are held in honor of Everett Pitcher, who served in Lehigh's Department of Mathematics from 1938 until 1978, when he retired as Distinguished Professor of Mathematics. He was secretary of the American Mathematical Society from 1967 until 1988. He died on December 4, 2006, at the age of 94.

The 2016 lecture is Shing-Tung Yau, author of The Shape of Inner Space.
